Manual and scheduled publishing

Serpio treats manual generation and scheduled generation differently. An article created from Generate or from an idea always requires an explicit Publish action. Only an article created by the Scheduler can be approved and delivered automatically.

Manually generated articles

   Generate and review

   The finished article stays as a draft in Serpio, regardless of the connection's scheduled-delivery setting.

   Open Publish

   Select the connected destinations that should receive this specific article. Nothing is selected implicitly.

   Send the approved revision

   Serpio approves the current revision and sends it only to the destinations you selected.

Scheduler-created articles

When a scheduled article finishes its checks and hero image, Serpio looks at the Scheduled articles setting on every active connection. Destinations set to Send automatically receive it. If no destination uses automatic scheduled delivery, the article stays as a draft for you to publish manually.

• Review before sending keeps scheduler-created articles in Serpio until you click Publish.
• Send automatically + Create a draft sends the article to the platform as an unpublished draft.
• Send automatically + Publish live makes the article public after delivery.
• A connection that needs attention is never used for automatic delivery.

The two connection settings

Scheduled articles controls whether scheduler-created content is sent without another click. When Serpio sends an article controls what the destination creates: a draft, a live post, or an item whose visibility is managed by the receiver. The second setting applies to both manual and scheduled deliveries.

Checks and edits

Automatic scheduled delivery still respects hard safety checks and waits for the hero image to finish or fail. Editing an approved article creates a new revision, clears approval, and requires publishing that revision again. Already completed deliveries remain in Publishing history.
