Calendar and cadence

Calendar in the sidebar opens the Content calendar. It combines manually planned ideas, future automated writing slots, generated drafts and published articles. Scheduler is where you choose the active days and daily article count; Serpio spaces each day’s work automatically.

What appears on the calendar

The strip above the grid counts Articles, Picked ideas and, when automation is active, Scheduled in view. The chips include Scheduled alongside the article status filters. Filtering hides events; it never moves them.

Moving around

Switch between Month and Week. The arrows step one month or one week, and Today jumps back. Weeks start on Monday. Clicking an article opens it in the article workspace. Clicking a planned idea opens its details.

Plans and automated slots

A planning date keeps an idea on a specific day. If the automated pipeline is active, that day's next slot uses the planned idea before choosing from the backlog or current prepared collection. If automation is paused, the date remains a reminder until you use the idea manually.

Drag a planned idea to any day to reschedule it. A toast confirms Idea rescheduled to Sep 24. Nothing else changes.

The backlog

Saved ideas without a date do not appear as standalone calendar items. They remain in Saved ideas on Home until you plan them. When the automated pipeline is active, click any future Content to be decided slot to place a saved idea at that exact time or write a topic directly. You can also choose a date with Plan idea when saving. See Saving, scheduling and dismissing ideas.

Producing the article on a planned day

   Open Home

   Planned ideas are listed in Saved ideas with a Planned date. The calendar itself has no generate button.

   Press Use idea

   The Generate article form opens with the idea and its research pre-filled. Review focus, tone, style and length.

   Press Generate

   Progress opens in Articles. When the draft is saved, it appears on the calendar on today's date in amber, and the planned idea is marked as used and leaves the grid.

   Approve and publish

   Approval and publishing move the article to their own dates in indigo and green. See Approval and auto-publish.

An empty calendar shows Nothing on the calendar yet with two shortcuts: Pick ideas, which goes to Home, and Generate now, which opens the form on Articles.

Plan limits and schedules

The billing page's daily cadence is the maximum number of scheduler slots you can create per publishing day. The monthly article allowance is still shared across your sites, and a due slot is recorded as skipped when that allowance is exhausted.

Open Scheduler to choose the exact daily count and publishing days. Serpio spaces multiple runs evenly between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM in the timezone reported by your browser. The activity list records queued, running, generated, skipped and failed slots. See Plans and credits.
