Account settings

The account page is short on purpose. It holds the things that belong to you rather than to a site: your name and photo, your plan, your sign-in, and the one irreversible button. It lives at /account, and the heading reads My account with the subtitle "Profile, plan, and account-level settings."

Profile

The card describes itself as how your name and photo appear inside Serpio.

• Upload photo accepts PNG, JPEG or WebP up to 2 MB, as the small print under the button says. Anything else is refused with "Use a PNG, JPEG, or WebP image." or "Image must be 2 MB or smaller." An upload applies immediately; Remove clears the photo when you save.
• Display name is limited to 80 characters and cannot be blank. Saving an empty name fails with "Display name can't be empty."
• Email is read-only. The note under it says the email is tied to your sign-in and to contact support to change it. There is no self-service email change.

Save changes at the bottom of the page stays disabled until something differs from what is saved. It shows Saved briefly on success. Only the profile uses this button; everything else on the page acts immediately.

Plan

A chip with your tier and one line: "N of M articles used this period." Manage billing goes to the Billing page. Nothing on the account page changes your plan or currency; read Billing, payments and refunds for that, and Plans and writing credits for how the number is counted.

Security

Password

Send reset email emails a link to set a new password to your sign-in address. The helper text says the link expires after one hour. On success the page confirms "Reset email sent to" your address. There is no in-page password form, and no current-password prompt.

Sign out

Described as ending your current session on this device. Other browsers stay signed in. The button reads Sign out, then you land on the sign-in page.

Danger zone

The card is subtitled "Permanent actions. Read carefully." Delete account is described in one sentence: it removes your sign-in and every domain, article, schedule, and connection you own, and cannot be undone.

   Click Delete account

   A dialog titled Delete account opens, subtitled "This is permanent. There's no undo."

   Read the three consequences

   Your sign-in email and password will be removed. All domains, articles, schedules, knowledge-base entries, and channel connections you own will be deleted. Your Serpio account cannot be recovered.

   Type your email

   The label reads Type followed by your address to confirm. The red Delete account button stays disabled until the text matches your sign-in email; letter case does not matter.

   Confirm

   The button reads Deleting…, then you are signed out and returned to the home page.

Deletion also removes Brand Books, Knowledge Base items, publishing history and saved ideas for every site, in one pass. Serpio does not delete posts it already published to your CMS; those stay where they were published.

What is not here

• Per-site settings such as voice, audience and publishing. Those live on each site's workspace settings.
• Currency, invoices, plan changes and cancellation. Those live on Billing.
• Sites themselves. Adding and switching happens in the top bar; see Managing multiple sites.
